Apple has unveiled the new generation of iPad Pro and Air, along with the new accessories: the latest Apple Pencil and a modern Magic Keyboard.
During today’s «Let Loose» event, Apple unveiled the new iPad Pro with M4 chip and iPad Air with M2 chip, accompanied by two key accessories essential for maximizing the potential of the tablets.
The third generation of Apple Pencil, now known as Apple Pencil Pro, incorporates the Find My function and new capabilities to adapt to various creative activities.
Also, a version of the Magic Keyboard, the keyboard accessory for iPad, was introduced with a redesigned, slimmer, and lighter design, enriched with a row of functions for quick access to controls such as brightness, volume, and playback.
Apple Pencil Pro
The brand new Apple Pencil Pro introduces the «squeeze» gesture, allowing interactions with the screen through a simple press.
The device features a haptic engine that provides precise and intelligent feedback in synergy with the new gesture, ensuring a seamless user experience: the sensor in the body detects the user’s pressure, allowing quick changes in tools, line thickness, and colors without interruptions.
With an improved gyroscope, it is now possible to adjust the angle of the stroke or brush more precisely during use.
The Apple Pencil hover is calibrated even better to display the exact orientation of the tool before making a mark.
To prevent the risk of losing the Pencil Pro, Apple has made it compatible with «Find My» to facilitate its retrieval.
However, an important feature is the limited compatibility: Apple Pencil Pro only works with the newly announced iPad Air and iPad Pro.
Nuevo Magic Keyboard
El nuevo Magic Keyboard está disponible para pedido a un precio de 149 euros, el mismo precio que su predecesor.
Presentando un diseño más delgado que los modelos anteriores, la nueva Magic Keyboard comparte muchas características y mejoras presentes en el Apple Pencil Pro, incluido el feedback háptico para el trackpad, gracias a la misma tecnología utilizada en las MacBook.
Diseñado específicamente para el nuevo iPad Pro con chip M4, el Magic Keyboard ofrece mayor portabilidad y versatilidad, manteniendo el diseño «mágico» flotante tan apreciado por la base de usuarios de Apple.
Además de la fila de funciones para acceder a diversas características, como el brillo de la pantalla y los controles de volumen, se conecta magnéticamente y cuenta con un Conector Inteligente para una conexión instantánea a la corriente y datos sin necesidad de Bluetooth. La bisagra de aluminio también incluye un conector USB-C para la carga.
También hay espacio para el nuevo Smart Folio para iPad Pro, que se adhiere magnéticamente y soporta diferentes ángulos de visualización para una mayor flexibilidad, disponible en los colores negro, blanco y denim, combinados con el nuevo iPad Pro.
El Magic Keyboard está disponible en negro, con un reposamuñecas de aluminio negro cepillado, y en blanco, con un reposamuñecas de aluminio plateado. A un costo de 349 euros para la versión de 11 pulgadas y 399 euros para la de 13 pulgadas, ya está disponible para compra en la tienda de Apple, con entregas programadas a partir del miércoles 15 de mayo.
