SAP has expanded support for generative AI across all SAP SuccessFactors solutions, the suite of applications dedicated to HR departments in companies. A step forward in the multinational’s strategy, which aims to create an ecosystem for the future of AI in the enterprise.
AI enters the HR world with new functionalities of SAP SuccessFactors
What can AI do in the HR world? The possible use cases are varied, ranging from automatically drafting job descriptions to providing users with personalized recommendations to guide them towards the most suitable training path based on their characteristics and ambitions.
At the core of SAP’s AI is Joule, which the company defines as the «generative and natural language AI copilot of SAP«. Similar to Microsoft’s Copilot, Joule will help workers find information faster, as well as automate a series of repetitive tasks such as approving vacation requests, managing expense reports, and viewing payroll statements.
SAP’s suite is enriched with Talent Intelligence Hub, an AI-based framework designed to help HR managers effectively manage talent and establish training paths to enhance staff skills. By analyzing workers’ profiles through AI, talent intelligence hub creates a skills profile for each employee, indicating strengths and weaknesses. By combining this data with information such as aspirations and preferences of each individual, the system can suggest personalized growth paths.
